Stellar's Sea Cow and Mammoth Studebaker Trout & Bird

This new Trout & Bird from Behring Made© is hand forged from pre-WWII Studebaker truck leaf springs and it measures 5 1/2" from tip to guard with a razor sharp hollow grind and our hammermark finish. The nickel silver guard is soldered in place above black fiber, copper, aluminum and ancient mammoth ivory spacers. The handle is Stellar's sea cow rib bone, a species that went extinct in the Pleistocene period and not discovered by mariners until the later 1700's. The handle is pinned through the tang with aluminum and overall length measures 10", plus it comes in a classic leather belt pouch sheath.
