J. Behring Jr. Handmade stamp Sambar Stag Trout & Bird

This classic Trout & Bird was made by James Behring when he still lived in Michigan- prior to establishing what is now Behring Made Knives and is stamped "J. Behring Jr. Handmade". The blade is hand forged from high carbon 01 tool steel and measures 4 1/2" from tip to guard with a razor sharp convex grind. The brass guard is soldered in place above black, white and maroon fiber spacers as well as a sambar stag handle that's pinned with brass, plus it has a 14mm butt compass. The overall length measures 9" and it comes in a plain Mosher Leather pouch sheath as well as a "James Behring Jr. Handmade Ray, MI" zipper case.
