J. Behring Jr. Handmade Alaskan Woodcraft

This unique vintage custom from James' pre-Behring Made days in Michigan is a hybrid mix of the revered Woodcraft and Alaskan style blades. It's hand forged from 3/16" thick high carbon 01 tool steel and it measures 5 1/2" from tip to guard with a razor sharp Scagel style grind and the J. Behring Jr. Handmade stamp. The nickel silver guard is soldered in place above black and maroon fiber, ivory micarta and aluminum spacers as well as a premium sambar stag handle with both an aluminum pin and thonghole. The overall length measures 10 1/4" and it comes in a Mosher basketweave pouch sheath with a J. Behring Handmade zipper case.
